JAMIE’S HOPE 7TH ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT FOR A CURE

Monday, August 26, 2019 at Sweetwater Golf Course

Amateur Golfers Only

The tournament will kick off with 8am registration where you will receive lots of goodies including a Mercedes-Benz puma backpack, Tenaris golf tee gifts and much more. While waiting for things to start golfers will enjoy breakfast, a Bloody Mary & Mimosa bar courtesy of Flying Pug & Flying Vine Wine Bar, and try their luck in our Putting Contest. At 9am the live Celebrity Caddie auction will take place and then a 10:00am shotgun start.

This year things are a little different…

The tournament will be comprised of Happy Foursomes and Hopeful Twosomes. Happy Foursomes will hit the green to have some fun in the sun in a light-hearted competition to go home with bragging rights and nice trophies. Our Hopeful Twosomes will hit the green and compete to advance to the Mercedes-Benz National Final at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina on October 26-29 courtesy of Mercedes-Benz of Houston Greenway!!! Mercedes-Benz will provide an unforgettable experience including golf rounds, accommodations and entertainment for the winners out of the Hopeful Twosome teams. Winners from the Mercedes-Benz National Final will compete as Team USA against teams from 30+ countries around the world in the 2020 Mercedes Trophy World Final in Germany! Click Here to Learn More!

Now back to the basics…

During the day our golfers will try their luck at multiple prize opportunities! Activities include longest drive, closest to the pin, putting contest, & a hole in one prize hole. Courtesy of Mercedes-Benz of Houston Greenway golfers will try their luck in a Closet to the Pin contest to win a Puma Cobra Ultralight Stand Bag and hope to shoot a Hole in One because you will WIN a 2019 Mercedes-Benz A220 Sedan!

Every hole will include food, adult beverages, entertainment, games and/or contests. There’s never a dull minute at Jamie’s Hope tournaments!

Golfers will end their game at 19th Hole Lounge sponsored by Flying Pug & Flying Vine where you can relax, enjoy adult beverages, listen to music, and hang out with friends. You won’t want to skip out early because some Houston Texan Cheerleaders will be stopping by. Tickets can be purchased for non-golfers (dinner is included).

Our golfers finish off the day with dinner sponsored by Grazia Italian Kitchen! Um YUMMY!

There will be an exciting awards ceremony followed by the finale… a live helicopter ball drop & raffle featuring amazing prizes! The Helicopter Ball Drop grand prize is a VACATION to a destination of your choice!!! CABO or SCOTTSDALE ARIZONA courtesy of Tenaris! (trip details in helicopter ball drop prize section below)

Expect tons of fun at this light-hearted tournament as we tee-off in search of a CURE and provide more support to our local cancer fighters!

Oh and last but not least every golfer that goes to do a test drive at Mercedes-Benz of Houston Greenway after the tournament will receive a Cobra Puma Custom Putter!

How does the Helicopter Ball Drop work?

1. Purchase your Helicopter Balls on the PayPal link …

2. Jamie’s Hope assigns you a number.

3. Jamie’s Hope writes your number on the number of golf balls you purchase.

4. Those golf balls will go into the helicopter and be dumped out over a hole.

5. The ball that lands in the hole wins first place. If multiple balls land in the hole we will randomly pick the winning ball out of the hole. The first place winner will have first choice out of the grand prizes listed below.

6. The helicopter ball drop has multiple prizes. We measure the ball distances from the hole to determine the other winning places. Closest to hole gets second place and so on. Second place would choose their winning prize from what is left over after first place chooses theirs and so on.

HOW THE AUCTIONS WORK

Our wonderful celebrity GOLFERS & BUDDIES will join the winner of our ONLINE AUCTION on the green. Celeb Golfers & Buddies will NOT be available in the LIVE auction on the tournament day, so don’t miss your chance to play with them! WINNER will be determined at 12pm Friday, August 23rd.

Our celebrity CADDIES & BEER CART BABES will step up for the LIVE AUCTION at 9am Friday morning. The starting bid will equal that of the online auction’s ending amount so help us get them started through the ONLINE AUCTION!
