The Jamie’s Hope Foundation will host the 4th Annual Golf Tournament for a Cure on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Wildcat Golf Club in Houston, Texas.
The tournament will kick off with registration, light bites & the Bloody Mary/Mimosa bar at 8ams followed by the live Celebrity Caddie auction & a 10:00am shotgun start. Enjoy a day on the green and try your luck at multiple hole-in-one prize opportunities, activities include longest drive, closest to the pin, putting contest, “Punt, Pass, & Kick” hole, “On Your Knees” hole & more. Every hole will be include food, adult beverages, games and/or contests. There’s never a dull minute at Jamie’s Hope tournaments!
Golfers will end their game in 19th Hole Lounge prior to finishing off the day with dinner and the exciting awards ceremony followed by the finale… a live helicopter ball drop featuring amazing prizes! Expect tons of fun at this light-hearted tournament as we tee-off in search of a CURE!

Getting rich with my metal detector over the weekend!!!!! Or not…..lol!! Found pennies, a penny-like coin (not sure what it is) coke can tabs, and other trash. However, I only went hunting for maybe 2 hours so can’t wait to get back out now that I was just starting to get the hang of it!!!!!!! I was in another world which is great for your health when you can get your mind off of all the normal everyday stress & issues in life. Traffic sucks!!! Flying cooler & smashed smoothies :(
Had to slam on my brakes on #Beltway8 and my cooler went flying accross the car breaking my #smoothies inside!!! Soooo annoying!!! Third Annual Jamie’s Hope Golf Tournament Produces Record-Breaking Numbers Despite the Weather
SUMMARY: The highly anticipated annual Jamie’s Hope golf tournament continues to sell out & grow in celebrity attendance, sponsors, and funds raised for The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Houston, TX | May 19, 2015 – The Jamie’s Hope Foundation hosted the Third Annual Golf Tournament for a Cure on May 15th and again sold out both courses at Wildcat Golf Club. The event grossed over $123,000 and participants enjoyed an all-inclusive day full of food, drinks, games, awards, prizes and celebrity auctions while one lucky guest went home with a $15,000 Bullfrog Spa donated by Glacier’s Pool Supplies & Spas. Over 250 golfers, 50 sponsor participants and 80 volunteers joined together and braved the weather to throw another successful Jamie’s Hope tournament. Scattered rains and occasional downpours made things interesting but wasn’t enough to stop this dedicated group. The tournament gave participants the opportunity to golf with some of Houston’s biggest names including current and former Houston Texans players, MLB Brian Cushing, Pro-Bowl center Chris Myers, WR Kevin Walter, OL Ben Jones, Chester Pitts, Houston’s favorite weather girl, Chita Johnson of KHOU Channel 11 and Fox 26 News anchor, Katie McCall. Guests rolled with laughter during the live auction as radio personality, Scott Sparks, auctioned off celebrity caddies with his humorous charm. Among those donating their time as caddies, were 93Q Country’s Erica Rico and the current reigning Miss Houston Texas United States, Summer Sadiyeh. I went a little crazy with my selfie stick
So…I went a little crazy with my #selfie stick yesterday and have a FEW pics (lol)… Going to start from the beginning of my day with my arrival at #Wildcat where Wendy Martin / #MakeupByWendy met me to help make me feel extra beautiful for the day by doing my makeup!!!! smile emoticon Then Darla Guyton / #GuytonPhotography met up with me to be my golf cart buddy for the day. Love having her help me interact with everybody all day, lot or people don’t know I am actually really shy but she does a great job of getting me out to meet everybody!! Both of these two ladies have been with #JamiesHope from the beginning and I am so thankful to have them on my team. They have been with me through so many hard times when I was really struggling with self esteem from all the side effects of chemotherapy. They always did a great job of getting me through it and making me feel more confident smile emoticon ~...
