The Jamie’s Hope Foundation will host the 4th Annual Golf Tournament for a Cure on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Wildcat Golf Club in Houston, Texas.
The tournament will kick off with registration, light bites & the Bloody Mary/Mimosa bar at 8ams followed by the live Celebrity Caddie auction & a 10:00am shotgun start. Enjoy a day on the green and try your luck at multiple hole-in-one prize opportunities, activities include longest drive, closest to the pin, putting contest, “Punt, Pass, & Kick” hole, “On Your Knees” hole & more. Every hole will be include food, adult beverages, games and/or contests. There’s never a dull minute at Jamie’s Hope tournaments!
Golfers will end their game in 19th Hole Lounge prior to finishing off the day with dinner and the exciting awards ceremony followed by the finale… a live helicopter ball drop featuring amazing prizes! Expect tons of fun at this light-hearted tournament as we tee-off in search of a CURE!

Jamie Update
Hey everyone. This is Cindy. Just wanted to let you know how Jamie is doing. Most of you know we can into the ER with a fever on Monday night and went home after fluids and meds. Adam and I brought her back last night once we learned her fever was still high ranging 101.7 to 102. Also, Dr Tsimberidou wanted us to be safe and bring her in to check her white blood cell count which is ok. When we brought her in her temperature was 103 so I’m glad we came! Her calcium and magnesium were low too so they gave her some of that and fluids again. They were gonna let us take her home but we decided to stay and have them watch over her. Her blood pressure dropped and was in the low 80’s so they put her on a watch and we are still at th ER. Her blood pressure seems to finally be back up now! Bout to order some food and try to get her energy up. She is very very tired. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts. It’s comforting knowing people are in this with us. Awesome, just took my temp and fever 101.1, been resting all day but started getting the chills a few hours ago and was thinking my head was hot Garrick is in bed with a fever too, so we are both down My Dad and Paulette came over today to help at the house thank god!!!!! PET Scan Results, Update, Visited Jennifer at MD, Chemo
Haven’t blogged in a while, the last 2 months have been very challenging. I have noticed when I feel good I push myself to the point of exhaustion and then crash for days. The hardest thing I am trying to learn is to slow down and that I’m not superwoman anymore, lol. This is my most challenging struggle with cancer, since I hate laying in bed and sitting around and resting and not feeling productive. Hopefully, I can find a way to manage my energy better so I don’t have the down days where I can’t move at all. Next comes my PET scan results!! Last week was my off week from chemo, so the last 2-3 days I have felt like myself once again My PET scan was last Thursday and I received results yesterday before chemo. According to the scan my SUV went down on all tumors by a little and this was my first positive test result. The report stated “Mild Positive Response to Therapy”. After discussing this with my doctor we wanted to know what my long term goal is and if surgery is in my future. She said the goal is to get me to a baseline and if we can get there to try to switch me to less toxic therapies for long term. Surgery is nowhere in my future at this time, it is two dangerous and my disease is too advanced at this time for that to be an option. The ultimate goal is to get my disease under control where it’s not spreading, growing or active and then we hope...
