Mom to the RESCUE!!!!!!!!!!
Mom picked up organic ingredients to make what they call their “Raw Energy Smoothies” and came over to teach us how to make them. I have been doing great getting 10 juices sometimes up to 13 a day (every hour) but still struggling to find easy healthy meals for lunch and dinner. I don’t have the energy or the time to cook what I should be eating for lunch or dinner, so am planning on using this recipe for my lunch and maybe as part of my dinner (with a salad, etc..). Soooooooo thankful I have a mom that never gave up on me and my previous unhealthy eating. Now I need her more than ever and she has been super supportive!! ~...

Recovering Sugaraholic
So if you were a recovering alcoholic do you think bartending would be a good idea?? Probably not!! Well…. I am a still a recovering sugaraholic and we had to work the concession stand for spring branch for our daughters softball league today. It was probably my hardest challenge since home from Hawaii (from my complete lifestyle change) and surprisingly the candy didn’t bother me at all. Took a pic with an old favorite, lol. Think the hardest challenge was smelling the hamburgers!!!!!! Good news, I made it with no junk food or sugar relapses!!!!!! Fyi…. My daughter put the big x on the photo below. ~...
Hammock Time!!!!
Just added a hammock to our backyard and now getting my Vitamin D by laying outside in the sun for a little bit before heading over to get some work done. Before cancer I was working in the real estate industry full time as a Broker (started my own brokerage) and investor, but all of that went on hold over the last several years. Every now and then I still do a LITTLE real estate and actually have to do a little work today (listing a house), lol smile emoticon. Seriously love our backyard!!!! Great place for working on Mindfulness in nature. Also.. Planning on making a meditation area. ~...

Lost voice this week
Lost voice this week and trying out essential oils and my new essential oil diffuser!! Previously I would run straight for medication, but now my plan is to look for natural ways to boost my immune system to get over anything. My family was really sick last week and I thought it wasn’t going to get me. Just talked to my sister and a few others that recently had the same crap so apparently it’s going around. Luckily I did not get sick as bad as them, but did lose the voice. Wednesday and Thursday I could only whisper but today I can speak a little when I really try, so seems like I am on the path to getting better!!!! ~...
PET scan results were BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!
On December 15th I made a personal choice that I would no longer continue chemotherapy and try something different. I jumped on a plane right after New Years and changed EVERYTHING in my life after going to Hawaii to focus on my health. Since home my days consist only of taking care of myself and this Monday was my first scan. After about 5 weeks of COMPLETE lifestyle change my tumors activity cut in half, the best results I have had since starting treatment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trying not to cry every time I think about how exciting this is!!!!!!!!!!!! Still have lots of hard work, but incredibly motivated to take my life back from cancer.
