Woohoo veggie b-day cake!!!
Woohoo veggie b-day cake!!! Thank god they remembered NOT to get a regular cake. Don’t know how I would have felt looking at a normal b-day cake if one had shown up, lol!!!!! ~ Jamie At the Super Bowl Party benefitting JH smile emoticon Taps House of Beer...Woohoo.. raccoon eyes this morning!!!!
Allergic reaction to something, first time this has ever happened…. Interesting smile emoticon Guess it’s time to find the Benadryl! ~...Started composting!!!
So much stuff coming out of my kitchen from juicing that seems like it would be stupid not too. My mom came over to help and had her and my daughter outside filling it up!!! smile emoticon Starting to get a system figured out, using chalkboard lids to label the date we made stuff. Probably another month or two and I will be a pro at this. Think I have spent more time in my kitchen in the last week than I have in the last 3 years, lol. ~ Jamie ...Update from home
Been a lot of work figuring everything out but almost there. Found that Michaels (craft store) had lots of canning and glass container options so pictures included are Materials from the craft store (using chalk labels to put time I have to drink my juice along with what needs to be added to it at the time of drinking). Also included pics of my healthy area in the kitchen. My new juicer as you can see crashes nuts and seeds into powder, soooo excited about that!!!!!!!! Amanda and I figured out for 2 days of juice it takes an ENORMOUS amount of carrots and 6 green apples + A LOT of work smile emoticon Looking forward to having a good system down, then have to figure out traveling and when I can use other companies juices when I can’t do it all at home!!! Also, hired a friend to come and help out too (she is a nurse!!!!!!). ~ Jamie ...Should have followed the instructions???????
I was warned in Hawaii about this juicer shooting pulp across the ceiling and we watched the dvd yet somehow still made a mess, lol. If I only had the video camera going smile emoticon Waited all day for my Norwalk juicer to arrive, had my sister Cindy over yesterday helping me and Amanda today. Thank god for both of them because this is a lot of work smile emoticon So now the juicing begins! ~ Jamie...Last Day!!!!!
Day 14 Last Day!!!!! So excited to be coming home!!!!!!! Learned a lot about myself and have a lot of hard work ahead to regain my health smile emoticon First attempt with traveling with healthy food smile emoticon Not super easy, but very planned and doable. Carrot juices packed, healthy fresh meal, supplements and of course a prescription to travel with all. Have many traveling hours ahead, checked in already and landing at 8 am in Houston, so this is going to be interesting! ~Jamie Hilo International Airport -United...Days 7-11
Still Alive!!!!!! Vegetables haven’t killed me yet, lol! Nutrition + lots of other stuff is helping me take back control of my life here in Hawaii. Late update finally! Days 7-11 update: last few days have been a lot of planning my return to the real world and making sure I am ready. Ordered my Juicer, shipping supplies, working on finding some help, etc…… During my time here I have rested, rested and rested a lot!!!!!!!!! I also drink a lot of juice, seems like they never stop bringing me juice (they make it, my mom brings it to me and harasses me until it’s gone, lol). There have been ups and downs with energy, had to make adjustments for my stomach, one pain episode (my fault though, pushed on hips pretty hard) but fixed with assistance from Dr. Baylac by surprising methods (not pain meds)!! In addition have noticed a huge improvement in everyday pain, actually almost gone, REGAINED A FOOT (lol), REGAINED MOVEMENT & flexibility in my right leg, which has been very exciting since before coming here all of my right toes where numb, could barely move it and no way I could reach my toes. (Fyi this numbness I believe was from the tumor, I had neuropathy in both feet and fingers a lot my first year on chemo but after one of the drugs was removed it went away). I haven’t gone into detail yet but this is a very rigorous program consisting of a strict diet (Gerson Therapy), lots of supplements, IV C, injections, and much more. It has been a lot of...***GIVE-A-WAY***

Yesterday’s update a little late, had a loooong day yesterday. ~...Day 5
Day 5 – cried last night and this morning when I was able to touch my toes and even trim my own toenails for the first time in years!!!!! My daughter (12 year old) has been doing my toes the last 2-3 years and the nail salon a few times. Amanda – if your watching I included a pic for you touching my toes… So now at our JH events I will be able to get my shoes on without help, lol smile emoticon Also, included my morning shot!!
