The Jamie’s Hope Foundation will host the 4th Annual Golf Tournament for a Cure on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Wildcat Golf Club in Houston, Texas.
The tournament will kick off with registration, light bites & the Bloody Mary/Mimosa bar at 8ams followed by the live Celebrity Caddie auction & a 10:00am shotgun start. Enjoy a day on the green and try your luck at multiple hole-in-one prize opportunities, activities include longest drive, closest to the pin, putting contest, “Punt, Pass, & Kick” hole, “On Your Knees” hole & more. Every hole will be include food, adult beverages, games and/or contests. There’s never a dull minute at Jamie’s Hope tournaments!
Golfers will end their game in 19th Hole Lounge prior to finishing off the day with dinner and the exciting awards ceremony followed by the finale… a live helicopter ball drop featuring amazing prizes! Expect tons of fun at this light-hearted tournament as we tee-off in search of a CURE!

Our wonderful celebrity GOLFERS will join the winner of our ONLINE auction on the green. Celeb Golfers will NOT be available LIVE day of the tournament, so don’t miss your chance to play with them! WINNER will be determined at 10pm Thursday, May 19th.
Our celebrity CADDIES will step up for a LIVE AUCTION at 9am Friday morning. The starting bid will equal that of the online auction’s ending amount so help us get them started on the ONLINE auction!

Inaugural Golf Tournament for a Cure Beats the Odds
Severe thunderstorms including hail, flooding, and sheets of rain didn’t stop celebrities, participants or the hopes of the Inaugural Jamie’s Hope Golf Tournament for a Cure. After an hour and a half delay, everyone enjoyed a beautiful day on the course raising over $46,000. The Jamie’s Hope Foundation hosted its Inaugural Golf Tournament for a Cure on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Wildcat Golf Club in Houston, Texas. Over $46,000 was raised in support of Targeted Therapy Research at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Houston Texans Cheerleaders kicked off the event along with celebrity caddies Ready for Love contestant Angela Zatopek, Miss Grand Prix Angela Anderson, Miss Tropic Beauty Cassandra Salvagio, and Miss Swimsuit USA International Kenda Carroll joined for the day. Featured celebrities at the tournament included Kevin Walter of the Tennessee Titans, All-Pro Shayne Graham of the Cleveland Browns, and guest Whitney Mercilus of the Houston Texans, as well as Houston Dynamo player, Michael Chabala. A light-hearted tournament was enjoyed by all as teams teed-off in search of a CURE. Over 120 golfers participated after the torrential weather delay; the clouds parted, the sun came out and the game was on. Players enjoyed a day on the greens trying their luck at multiple hole-in-one prizes, including a brand new Infiniti G37 Convertible sponsored by Southwest Infiniti and the ultimate $1,000,000 grand prize. “To say the tournament was fun is a major understatement. Battle Wound from IV / Blood work, Labs and Scans
Battle wounds from 2 IV’s over the past week for the PET and CT scans and lab work yesterday:( The good news is for both IV’s they got it on the first try and no fainting episodes!!!!!!!! I got their names so I can ask for the ladies up at MD next time I have a scan, lol. Kind of like my blood draws, Jewels is my lab lady every Monday. Once I found her, since I am a fainter, I started requesting her every time. Before Jewels I was a disaster when it came time to draw blood, but since her I am no longer afraid. She has been drawing my blood for almost a year in June (since I started chemo) and has never missed. I am so thankful to have met her and she helped me get over my fear. However, in the event of her absence I have to ask for a senior tech Next post is chemo update and scan results. Sharing pictures of my tumor on the next post....Kentucky Derby
