The Bald is Beautiful program at Jamie’s Hope is designed to empower those who are struggling with the reality of dealing with hair loss as a result of chemotherapy. Going through chemotherapy is so challenging. Losing your hair can be devastating. We want you to know that you are not alone and your hair is just hair. You are still beautiful!

Capture this time in your life, allow us to set up an intimate & fun, complimentary photoshoot where Jamie’s Hope donors & volunteers and makeup & photography professionals will join together to create an experience of a lifetime for you. Jamie's Story

Jamie Gilmore, born in Houston in 1982, is a pediatric cancer survivor and is currently fighting a rare form of cancer called Acinic Cell Carcinoma. 2012 has marked the 4th time her cancer has relapsed.

What We Do

Jamie’s Hope was established to accelerate groundbreaking Targeted Therapy research at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center; helping patients diagnosed with cancer to receive the most innovative therapies available today

  The Jamie’s Hope team works year-round to produce top-notch fundraising events benefiting MD Anderson Cancer Center that directly affect the Houston community.
