Potassium Bromate
Did you know that potassium bromate is banned in the United Kingdom, China, Brazil, Peru and many other European countries, BUT NOT THE UNITED STATES? I found that quite interesting and since I have been fighting cancer for over 20 years, I thought it was about time I learn what I have been eating most of my life. So today I bring you a little information on potassium bromate, another food additive that makes the EWG’s “Dirty Dozen.” Considering I previously consumed a diet high in baked goods, processed food and fast food, my guess is I have likely consumed tons of potassium bromate in my lifetime. So what is potassium bromate anyways??? Bromated flour contains potassium bromate, an oxidizing agent commonly used in commercial baking to promote rising, improve and strengthen dough. In the U.S., the FDA has encouraged bakers to voluntarily stop using bromated flour, but shouldn’t we be doing more? At least California is doing something… they are the only state to have potassium bromate on their Proposition 65 list (which warns residents of danger associated with the chemical by requiring a cancer warning on their labels). Thank you California!! Only 49 more states to go unsure emoticon You can also read more at the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) which found that this chemical appears to be “formally identified” as causing cancer. I also included a link with the awesome Proposition 65 list for those interested in avoiding potentially dangerous and toxic chemicals. If that’s not convincing enough, potassium bromate is labeled as a category 2B carcinogen by the International Agency for Research...

Shipment arrived!!!!! Trying to figure out the best ways to travel and stay on my health regimen. This time I had Norina ship it. So it cost $132 for overnight by 10am shipping and took her little over half a day in labor to make it all plus the cost of produce. By doing it this way I didn’t lose a day of vacation trying to find all the organic ingredients and then having to make it all and pack a juicer on top of the vitamix blender. The other option is finding a juice company which I recently tried in Destin. The one company I found did not have the kind of juice I needed for cancer, not all produce is organic, it was far from our resort and was always closed when I had time and the energy to go. #Destin here I come with my new metal detector!!!! After accomplishing a #BucketList item and loving it, I bought a metal detector. Can’t wait to get out on the #beach!!!! Now hoping to find treasures to pay for the new #Minelab #CTX3030!!!!! Will post pics later of my finds which better not be trash, lol!! FYI….. Track21 go carting with family and friends. First time out being mobile with my new Texans Backpack (matches the shorts and hat too), from my friends at Arthur Andrews Medical !!!! Fits my iv pump, has extra pockets for whatever and even room for my Heparin and Sodium Chloride Syringes for flushing when finished!!! Can’t tell you how much my quality of life has improved by not spending all my time in hospitals. I was okay going for a long time, but think as time went on it really started wearing on me. I still have many struggles I am working on and trying to overcome. My energy level is what I consider my #1 problem most of the time (it’s very challenging to be healthy when you are lacking energy to do the stuff that needs to be done), but I still feel I am at least working in the right direction towards beating cancer!! Anybody that doesn’t have cancer ….. PREVENTION PREVENTION PREVENTION!!!!!!!!!!! Would give anything to go back and live a much healthier life and maybe I wouldn’t be dealing with cancer today!!!!!!!! Getting rich with my metal detector over the weekend!!!!! Or not…..lol!! Found pennies, a penny-like coin (not sure what it is) coke can tabs, and other trash. However, I only went hunting for maybe 2 hours so can’t wait to get back out now that I was just starting to get the hang of it!!!!!!! I was in another world which is great for your health when you can get your mind off of all the normal everyday stress & issues in life. Looking forward to going back out again with a metal detector!!!!! Garrick’s hobby was his #Revo #rccar and our daughter #seashellhunting (I also love seashell hunting).
